Art in the Tent at Kennisis Lake

Marleen is offering this course for ages 10-12, for students with a serious interest in art. She will supply everything that is needed (canvases, brushes, paints, etc) and the students will go home with a completed 12x12 gallery canvas oil painting. They can pick a picture of their own, select a picture of a painting they like or select from a few that she will provide.

Please read the following Student Behaviour Agreement which you will be required to sign before the class:

The following are conduct and behaviour expectations for participants while taking part in a “Marleen Campbell by Design” activity/lesson.
1. Be respectful at all times (to yourself, others and property).
2. No one is allowed to leave the site of the activity without my permission.
3. Instructions and direction must be adhered to, to assure success, safety and prevent complications
4. This is a time to be creative, electronic devices are to be put away.
5. Materials are to be used for their intended or instructed purpose only.

The behaviour of each individual affects fellow students, the instructor, parents as well as other people visiting or looking on. The consequences of your behaviour are not restricted to you alone. Think before you chose to do something that is questionable. Your personal conduct should be based on mutual respect for the individuals in your group and should be reasonable at all times. Participants are required at all times to maintain the highest standards of conduct. In case of serious infraction of the rules, the parents/guardians of the participant will contacted and required to come and pick up the student immediately. There will be no refund provided. Let’s make this activity not only an enjoyable one, but a memorable one. Avoid problem situations: take care of yourself, be positive, be pleasant, be co-operative, be humorous, be sociable and above all be understanding. Always conduct yourself in a manner that will be a credit to yourself and to your parents.
